Day 1, Arrival and transfer to your hotel in Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, our guide will welcome you and transfer to your hotel and depending on the time of your arrival, you will go for a short city tour with in Kigali and visit the genocide memorial site. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Kigali view Hotel

Day 2, Transfer Bugesera (Ntarama and Nyamata)

After a morning breakfast on the second day of your 14 Days Tour of Rwanda, you will transfer to Bugesera to visit the place called amasanagano where Akanyaru river from Burundi meet Nyabarongo river and Create Akagera river nice place to visit ‘
Then after will visit Ntarama Genocide memorial site and Nyamata Genocide memorial site then having lunch at Nyamata city then after lunch will visit reconciliation village then overnight in Nyamata city or back to kigali

Day 3, Transfer to Ngoma (Kibungo)

On the third day of your 18 Days Tour of Rwanda , you will have an early morning breakfast then Drive to Ngoma on the way will visit Rweru lake, rukumberi, sake lake zaza place over night at ngoma.

Day 4, Transfer to Akagera national park

After having breakfast on the fourth day of your 14 Days Tour of Rwanda, you will embark to Akagera national via rusumo waterfall at the border of Rwanda and Tanzania then nasho -Nyankora and overnight in Akagera national park

Day 5: a Game Drive and Transfer to Nyagatare

On the fifth day of your 18 Days Rwanda Safari, you will have an early morning breakfast then start a gamedrve in Akagera national park visiting different species of animals then driver to Nyagatare for dinner and overnight

Day 6, visiting Nyagatare city and around

After having breakfast, a bit late on the sixth day of your 18 Days Tour Rwanda you will relax and visit Nyagatare city and around enjoying the landscape of Nyagatare Agri tourism birds watching around and experiencing cultural of the place then over night again

Day 7: Transfer to Gicumbi (Byumba)

Breakfast will be served early this day on the seventh day of your 18 days Tour Rwanda and then after, you will check out from your Hotel and later transfer to Gicumbi (Byumba) . En route you will enjoy the landscape Rukomo, cyabayaga, mimuri, Ngarama, then overnight in Gicumbi

Day8: Transfer to the airportDay 8: Transfer to Musanze

The eighth day of this 18 Days tour of Rwanda will drive to musanze via Kinihira-base- Butaro hospital -twine lakes the musanze for dinner and overnight

Burial: Gorilla Cemetery at Karisoke Research Station, Karisoke, Eastern, Rwanda
After breakfast you will report at the RDB headquarters where your driver-guide will accomplish the necessary formalities for you. You will meet your park guide(s) for a briefing about visiting the Grave of Dian Fossey
“Bio: Activist. She gained international attention for her extensive efforts to save the mountain gorillas of Africa. In 1967 she moved to Rwanda and established Karisoke, a research camp in the Parc National des Volcans.Fossey was murdered in her cabin at Karisoke on December 26, 1985 Her death is a mystery yet unsolved. In 1988 the Life and work of Dian Fossey was portrayed in the major motion picture Gorillas in the Mist, which starred Sigourney Weaver “
then if time allows after lunch will drive heading to Ibyiwacu cultural village for Rwandan cultural experience then dinner and Overnight at your Muhabura Hotel where Dian Fossey used to stay

Day 10: Transfer to Rubavu

After breakfast will visit Karisoke Research Center to learn much about Gorillas and the journey of Dian Fossey in Rwanda then after will drive to Rubavu for lunch and relax at kivu lake, then will go for Rubavu city tour visiting borders of Rwanda and DRC, visiting German graves died during the first world war enjoying the view of Nyiragongo volcano Located in DRC and boating to Nyamyumba Hot water spring. dinner and Rubavu night experience!

Day 11: Rubavu (kayaking in lake kivu)

The lush northern coastline of Lake Kivu around Gisenyi has some of the most spectacular scenery, peace and tranquility in Rwanda! Just a couple of hours from the gorillas, Lake Kivu’s blue water is the jewel beside the Virunga volcanoes.

Classic Lake Kivu fishing boats ply the waters at sunset, their crews singing rhythmically as a traditional way of life flourishes along the verdant shore. Numerous birds dart in and out of bushes and the active Nyiragongo Volcano can be seen rising above the surrounding hills.

Day12: Transfer to Karongi

after breakfast will drive to Karongi
Via Gishwati Mukura National park After check in Bethanie hotel and having lunch then will go for boating to visit different Islands in Kivu, like Napoleon Island, peace Island, King &Queen islands and will visit where Garman solders left the boat during the first world was and where they had a factory coffee. Then dinner and overnight in Bethanie hotel

Day 13- Transfer to Rusizi

After breakfast will drive to Rusizi via Nyamasheke on the way will see various plantations and the landscape then will continue to Rusizi at hotel du lac to enjoy the view of Bukavu the city of DRC will have our lunch and dinner while seeing Bukavu city at hotel du lac

Day 14 - Transfer Nyungwe National park (Kamiranzovu waterfall)

After early morning breakfast, will drive to Gisakura Park Reception, this time for a nature walk, a visit to Kamiranzovu waterfall trail – Kamiranzovu is the largest wetland in the forest comprising of lush, forested mountains, and it resembles a giant caldera and drains through a dramatic gap between two peaks. On the more elevated western side of the trail, look out for the amazing views of whole marsh, including its outlet. Through that gap, water flows about 3 km, to and from then lunch relaxation, dinner and overnight Nyungwe nziza Eco -lodge

Day 15: Nyungwe National park (Canopy walkway)

After early morning breakfast will go for a canopy walk, above a steep and deep valley stretching across the massive forest. The platform is 50 meters above ground level and 90 meters long. It allows tourists to view butterflies, birds and blue monkeys that dwell in the upper levels of the forest. The forest has 13 rare primate species, the world’s largest ever recorded arboreal troop of black/white colobus monkeys, and nearly 300 species of birds and 154 types of orchids.

Day16: Nyungwe (Source of Nile)

After breakfast at 9h00am will drive via Gasarenda to the source of Nile found in Nyungwe rainforest the furthest source of Nile that discovered by Dr. Richard Kandt from Garman in July/August 1898 then after drive to Huye the city of history for dinner and overnight

Day 17: Transfer to Kigali

After breakfast will visit some historical places and ethnographic museum in Huye then after drive to Nyanza for king palace museum visit, then after drive back to kigali for dinner and overnight (Kigali view hotel)

Day 18: Transfer to the airport

After breakfast will drive in kigali city buying souvenirs then to the airport for Departure.
